CREATURES SHAPED LIKE BIRDS WITH HUMAN FEET & V-SHAPED HEADS:
(THE PLACE):Billings, Montana....
A couple (the Bairs) while driving in their truck, were assaulted by"metal fillings" coming from a BUBBLE-SHAPED spaceship. The ship & the truck collided and out of the spaceship came a "peanut-shaped cylinder" and out of that came 'ALIENS'-18" TALL ~ BIRD-LIKE ~ AND VERY INTENT ON CONTINUING THE "METAL FILLINGS" ASSAULT!
One witness said that they (the Bairs) definitely believed what they said they saw was real....THEN THINGS TURNED "OCCULTISH"!
A reporter by the name of Roberta Olson spent many hours with the Bairs AND FOUND THEM TO BE CREDIBLE! They related to her the following:
That strange matter came out of the corner of their Sinclair Lewis Motel roomwalls...of the wings they saw on the back of the creatures...and of the metal shavings that were continuing to be thrown their way.
As Olson told the author (Loren Coleman),"Something mysterious did happen to those people. You had to see their eyes."
In the Bairs' room, writing started to appear on Jaackie Bair's thigh; and both Jackie & her husband Robert were continually assaulted from the trees by metal fillings from the"BIRD-MEN".
The author ends this bizarre tale by sadly relating that the Bairs disappeared and neither he, nor reporter Olson, could ever find a trace of them again.
CASE #2: THE BLACK FISH BAY, PUGET SOUND, WASHINGTON INCIDENT:
According to the author, there was an incredible sighting by seven disbelieving fisherman of a strange ocean-going "machine"....(There is actually a drawing of this strange "machine" [fish?] by Anne Bernard for the Institute of Fortean studies.)
The seaman said that the sea machine appeared like a "demon of the deep," poured "blue fire" from the "horns" at its front, and filled the air with electricity. Measuring over 150 feet long, the thing was covered with what appeared to be copper bands. From these bands came a powerful electrical force that stopped the men's watches & produced bright rays of illumination.It seems to have been driven by a propeller-shaped "tail."
Although this event seems like part of a Jules Verne story, [[WE ALL REMEMBER, "20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA"]], the author has added this TALE [?] as one of the NON-FICTION sightings of unidentified submerged objects, UFOs. The author comments at the end of this ACCOUNT that ~ considering all of the observations, that this was indeed SOME SORT OF MACHINE-LIKE contrivance that has assumed the shape of a sea monster. The electromagnetic effects, the lights, the copper bands, and the propeller ALL make this an inescapable conclusion, despite some fanciful theorizing at the time to the effect that this might be a giant mutant fish.
[[I remember from my years of UFO research that there have been a number of books about "SEA-UFOs", especially in the writings of biologist/ufo researcher, IVAN SANDERSON. I personally had spoken to a jet pilot who had an encounter with some STRANGE ORANGE GLOBE that "came up from the ocean" to """investigate?""" his 727 aircraft ~ by coming to his left wing, and then suddenly going to the right wing, and just as suddenly, DISAPPEARING BACK DOWN TO THE OCEAN....Even my very own father (in 1925) saw a strange cigar-shaped object "going up the Hudson River."
I think it is very narrow-minded & short sighted of us (OUR COLLECTIVE CIVILIZATIONS)to think that there are not OTHER CIVILIZATIONS ~ from the distant past or "out there" from other places or dimensions who have """HARNESSED""" the secrets of the universe ~ LONG BEFORE WE WERE A TWINKLE IN OUR COLLECTIVE FATHERS' EYES ~ who have made their temporary homes in the vast oceans of the deep ~~ FAR-FAR FROM THE PRYING EYES OF HUMANITY!!! WHY NOT??? THE EVIDENCE FOR THIS ~ FOR ANYONE WHO LOOKS CLOSELY ~ IS OVERWHELMING.]]
#3 [[I'M NOT A 'BIGFOOT!']] THE THETIS LAKE, BRITISH
COLUMBIA CREATURE:
This place is not far from Vancouver Island. [[BE CAREFUL!]]
THE STORY: On August 19th, 1972, Gordon Pike & Robin Flewellyn said a five foot tall animal appeared on the surface of Thetis Lake and CHASED THEM FROM THE BEACH!!!
Flewellyn was cut on the hand by six razor-sharp points atop the monster's head. (An illustration of this creature appears in Coleman's book ~ courtesy of the Institute of Fortean Studies. [[It appears on page 71 of the soft-cover 1985 FABER & FABER PUBLICATION.]]
Within a week, two other witnesses (Mike Gold & Russell Van Nice) spotted the creature again. Gold described the creature AS HAVING A HUMAN-LIKE BODY but HAD A MONSTER FACE, AND IT WAS ALL SCALY...with a point sticking out of its head and great big ears. Its color was silver.
What makes these two events so interesting is that it is similar to an event that happened in Saginaw, Michigan, in 1937 WHERE a man-like monster climbed up a river bank, leaned against a tree, and then returned to the river. The only problem was that the fisherman who witnessed this (AND LATER SUFFERED A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN) featured -among other reports-that this "man" had claws & three-toed prints (similar to the drawing of the Thetis Monster.)
Coleman even cites the big Deltox Swamp, Wesconsin flap where investigator Ivan Sanderson (in 1969) who recounted stories of a creature with footprints of a "good-size man with swim fins."
IS TRUTH STRANGER THAN FICTION???
In this last case of 'CREATURE-~FEATURES' ~ on August 21st, 1955, a Mrs. Darwin Johnson was attacked by ONE THESE TYPE CREATURES! While swimming with a female friend in the Ohio River, a hand with "huge claws & furry" (or scaly) came up from behind her, grabbed her left leg. gripped her knee, and pulled her under. She kicked and pulled herself free but it pulled her under again. When Johnson lunged for her friend's inner tube, the noise apparently scared "it" away.
Just like in the Thetis Monster case, she had to be treated for scratches & marks on her leg...She also had a PALM-PRINT SHAPED GREEN STAIN below her knee that could not be removed.
[[What I, lebeau, particularly found interesting about this case was that ~ according to Fortean investigator ~ Terry Colvin ~ THAT AN AIR FORCE COLONEL BOTH INTERVIEWED MRS. JOHNSON & HER FRIEND (a Mrs. Chris Lamble) & TOOK "VOLUMINOUS" NOTES>>>WARNING THEM "NOT TO TALK FURTHER ABOUT THE INCIDENT." {{{APPARENTLY THIS WAS NOT YOUR HO~HUM REGULAR SHARK ATTACHMENT!}}} ]]
Loren Coleman also alludes to the classic movie: "CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON" of which this incident actually foreshaddowed the events in the movie which Coleman describes at length in his book. [[For those already upset, do not see this movie! This brings us full circle: DOES ART MIRROR REAL LIFE? or REAL LIFE "FEED US" THE EVENTS WE SEE IN THE CINEMA~ while we passively sit SAFE IN OUR SEATS???]]
